About Me.
I'm Ahmed — I help founders take products from zero to shipped, and I help teams already at scale stop losing users to the stuff that quietly breaks: slow checkouts, crashing apps, infrastructure that can't take a traffic spike. That's the split I work in — building the first version of something that doesn't exist yet, and hardening systems that already do.
Most recently at 1MoreThing Ventures, I work directly with founders on 0→1 product builds — the unglamorous work of turning an idea into something real users can touch. Before that, at QimInfo, I ran performance engineering for platforms under real load: load-testing a major Swiss retailer's checkout ahead of Black Friday (58% more concurrent users supported), cutting a consumer app's crash rate in half, and building observability pipelines so teams could see what was actually happening in production instead of guessing.
I write about what I'm building and what I'm learning — devlogs, infrastructure notes, and the occasional plan I'm holding myself to (like getting a side project to $1k MRR in 12 weeks). When I'm not at a keyboard, I'm usually on a football pitch — a game that's taught me the same lessons engineering has: discipline, teamwork, and getting back up when a plan doesn't survive contact with reality.
If you're building something and need someone who can own the technical side end to end, let's talk.
